The Camarillo Airport

About the Camarillo Airport

Camarillo Airport is a public airport located three miles (5 km) west of the central business district (CBD) of Camarillo, in Ventura County, California, USA. It is roughly equidistant from Los Angeles, CA and Santa Barbara, CA although it is inland. The airport has one runway and exclusively serves privately operated aircraft with no commercial service. This airport used to be part of the Oxnard Air Force Base prior to the base being closed. Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Camarillo Airport is assigned CMA[1] by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned CMA to Cunnamulla Airport in Cunnamulla, Queensland, Australia[2]). The airport's ICAO identifier is KCMA.
